
Officially the sixth President of Geiger and the fifth from the Geiger family as of January 1, 2025: David Geiger.
USA – Geiger, the according to own accounts largest, privately-owned promotional products distributor in family hands, Lewiston USA-Maine, was pleased to announce in November 2024 that it has appointed David Geiger as the new President. David Geiger will be the sixth President in the almost 150-year-old history of the company and the fifth person from the Geiger family to take over the post.

David Geiger, member in the fifth generation, is in his present capacity as Vice President and General Counsel responsible for the legal affairs of the global company, including mergers and take-overs, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, licensing and risk management. Furthermore, he monitors all sustainability and social responsibility initiatives of the company, which has received several awards for its ecological and social commitment including the EcoVadis label.
Jo-an Lantz, who remains in place as CEO, welcomed the fact that the family continues to be part of the management: “David brings a deep understanding of Geiger’s values and a progressive approach to our global operations. I am proud to be his partner in this important next step for Geiger. His leadership will help steer our team, and brand, into the next chapter while staying true to our values and culture,” said Lantz.
Gene Geiger, member of the fourth generation and Chairman of the Geiger Board, also said confidently: “What a remarkable milestone this is for our family business. Working with Jo-an and a superb management team, David is prepared to lead the company through its next era. I could not be more proud of David or more optimistic about our future.”
David Geiger will officially take over his new role on January 1, 2025. In addition to his activities at Geiger, David Geiger also works for many non-profit and industry-specific initiatives.
