D – The Choice Group invites representatives from the trade media to a press brunch every autumn to present the novelties for the coming year prior to the imminent trade show highlights. As in the past years, the German umbrella specialist, Fare, was the host of the equally informative and inspiring event.

On November 7 2024, the Managing Director of Fare, Volker Griesel, welcomed the invited press representatives together with the Managing Directors and Sales Directors of his fellow group members Daiber, Halfar, Karlowsky, mbw and SND to a small, but fine event that was staged under the motto “One Group. Unlimited Choice” this time. Each of the six Choice group members was given the opportunity to present its most important novelty. Between chef coats for star chefs, special motif umbrellas, bicycle rucksacks, porcelain plates as wall decorations, plush axolotls and street-wise sweatwear, the morning proved very entertaining.

Noticeable in the case of all six companies: The (design) quality of the innovations presented was exceptionally high. Many novelties have lifestyle character and are on a par with retail level. “We claim to be able to replace a retail item with each of our products,” the Managing Director of Halfar, Kathrin Stühmeyer-Halfar, confirmed for example.

The modern and friendly showroom of Fare was once again the venue for the press brunch.

The trends and tendencies of the industry were subsequently discussed during a sociable get-together, before the press representatives had the opportunity to examine the line-ups more closely at the individual stands.
