Mika Gehlen
D – The Cologne-based media service provider and event organiser, WA Media, is delighted to welcome a newcomer to its editorial team: Mika Gehlen has been supporting the editorial office of the specialised publishing company as a volunteer since May 15, 2024. The 26-year-old, who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies, worked for the music magazine, Diffus, carrying out journalistic tasks, while completing his degree.
At WA Media in his capacity as Volunteer he has already gained insights into all areas of the editorial office, from the news desk through to trade show reports. “I have already received many exciting impressions of everyday life in a publishing company over the past four months and am looking forward to the following educational months,“ is how Gehlen described his start at the company.
