D – WA Media recruited two new members for its sales team in September 2024: The Cologne-based publishing company hired Miriam Krause, a qualified publishing merchant, who looks back on several years of experience in customer service and selling advertising space at publishing companies and agencies. “I am very much looking forward to my new tasks,” stated Krause, who will be responsible for the postcode areas 0–3 in Germany as well as for the Scandinavian market and Turkey.
Furthermore, Alicia Dieffendahl (formerly Mancino), an esteemed colleague, is returning to her position as Sales Manager at WA Media after completing her maternity leave. Dieffendahl will be in charge of her former customer base in Southern Germany, comprising of the German postcode areas 8 and 9, as well as being responsible for the Eastern European and Italian markets. “I already had the opportunity to meet up with some familiar faces and get to know some new contact persons. It was like coming home,” reported Dieffendahl.
The sales team of WA Media that is managed by the long-standing Department Heads, Sarah Vieten and Jochen Thoma, is rounded off by the trainee, Celina Heppe, who has successfully completed her first apprenticeship year at the publishing company: “After a year of training I have been able to gain valuable insights into the publishing business and get to know the colourful spectrum of the promotional products industry after visiting several trade shows in Germany and abroad. It is very diversified and I have already learned a great deal.”
