D – Ralf Uwe Schneider has been reinforcing the offices of the Gesamtverband der Werbeartikelwirtschaft e.V. (GWW/German Promotional Products Association) since August 1, 2024. According to the GWW, one had approached the board member Schneider after it had been announced that AT Promotions Ltd. had gone bankrupt and had been able to win him over to work in the offices of the association. Schneider is joining Ralf Samuel’s existing team that comprises of Ira Kunert, Bastian Hofsümmer and Matthias Oehler; he had previously retired from the board on July 31, 2024.
It was stated that due to new projects like the cooperation with the German Advertising Research Association, the tasks involved running the new European Association Cooperation (EAC) and supporting the young professionals, the work load of the association had grown and the services of a further person had thus become necessary.
Gunther Langenberg
With Ralf Uwe Schneider leaving the board to join the offices, the GWW had to appoint a new board member in line with its articles of association. The GWW saw this as an opportunity to unite the two functions Section Spokesman and board member again from the circle of suppliers and thus appointed the advisory board member, Gunther Langenberg, as Schneider’s successor.
The GWW reported that Gunther Langenberg had been closely linked with the association for many years – not only as a committed advisory board member, but also in his role as a former board member. It was stated that in Langenberg the GWW had found a reliable and motivated successor for Schneider, who would address the new challenges energetically and with the necessary expertise.
