BG – Kingly, Sofia, has been distinguished with the Socially Responsible Strategic Management Award 2023 and won third place in the category “Ecology” for its innovative denim upcycling project. The award ceremony, which was organised by the Bulgarian Ministry for Labour and Social Politics, was held on June 17th, 2024, after being postponed for six months. Kingly’s innovative project was chosen from among 50 applicants and convinced the star-studded jury because of its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. The company strives to reduce waste by reusing denim material.
Maraya Slavova, order processor at Kingly, gratefully accepted the prize from Irena Tsvetkova, Director of the Office of the Ministry for Labour and Social Politics. The latest distinction follows on from the success of last year, when Kingly won first place in the category “Ecology”.
