DK – The Danish supplier, Eskesen, has ceased its operations on June 30th, 2024. Following the sale of the company premises and the future change of use, production at the Store Merløse site to the West of Copenhagen will stop. All incoming and ongoing orders are to be produced and delivered by the end of June, new orders will not be accepted, according to the company’s website.
The production of the Floating Action Pens, which made Eskesen famous, will be carried out in future by the Japanese partner, Maiko Nakamura, CEO and owner of the company Retrobank in Japan. “The production,” according to Eskesen, “will be executed in future in Japan using the production equipment and techniques of Eskesen, so that customers will continue to receive a high-quality product.” Nakamura confirmed that the production of the Floating Action Pens will commence at the beginning of 2025. The production of the acrylic key pendants is being discontinued.
