Heather Smartt
USA – Goldstar Global that is based in Shelbyville, Tennessee, announced the resignation of its General Manager, Howard Cubberly. His successor is Heather Smartt, who was previously employed as Director of Global Product Development at Goldstar. Smartt has been working in the industry for 18 years.
Over the past ten years Cubberly had been decisively responsible for the growth and further development at Goldstar. Under his management the company won many awards, developed new product categories, expanded globally in North America and Europe and also introduced the concept of Simplicity®, which expresses Goldstar’s commitment to simple pricing and an uncomplicated corporate culture. His management team writes: “We are deeply grateful for Howard’s vision and leadership which was foundational to our success over the past decade. His commitment to fostering a great team environment, vibrant brand and entrepreneurial spirit is engrained into our legacy. He will be deeply missed, but we wish him nothing but the very best in his future endeavours.”
