markeding 1 203x250 - markeding Vienna: OverwhelmingA – It became clear right at the entrance from the start that it was going to be full: Queues began forming in front of the registration desk of the markeding in the early morning already. The event was staged on April 11, 2024 at the Hofburg Vienna, as usual. As it turned out, when the doors of the Imperial Palace closed the organisers were able to announce record attendance: According to the official accounts, 2,262 trade visitors (2023: 2,137) were checked in via the dMAS registration system. As such, Austria’s largest haptic advertising show once again achieved a result that is impressive for a one-day event of this magnitude even on an international level. The fact that it was difficult to get through the aisles at times was due to the intensive marketing efforts of the organiser of markeding, Martin Zettl, and the show’s six sponsors: Mitraco, Nowak Werbeartikel, Forum Werbemittel, kw open, Wertpräsent and Pro Concept Promotion. The trade fair has in the meantime become an obligatory date in the diaries of the Austrian marketing world – incidentally not only in the catchment area of the capital city: By all accounts, visitors even travelled several hours in the car to attend the event.

As always, a fantastic location attracted the customers of the sponsoring agencies – as well as a manifold offer: According to the organisers, 126 exhibitors from twelve nations presented a diversified selection of products in the halls and corridors of the emperor’s residence. In addition to numerous brand name companies, well-known full-range stockists and specialists as well as niche suppliers from the haptic advertising sector, as always several suppliers from the visual communications segment were also present.

In its capacity as a platform for the region around Austria, the markeding Vienna has been a must-attend event for most of the exhibitors for many years. Which is why the feedback to this year’s attendance was even more euphoric than usual. Hence, not only the six sponsors, but Martin Zettl too had plenty of reason to celebrate.

For Zettl the focus now lies on Upper Austria: That is namely where the next edition of markeding is taking place on September 17, 2024 at the Wels Exhibition Centre. The show is being planned for the first time as a green event, certified by the Austrian environmental seal. Next year, the show will be staged for the 15th time at the Vienna Imperial Palace on April 10, 2025.
