D – The German textile specialist, Promodoro Fashion, has been awarded the Gold distinction by EcoVadis. As such, the company comes under the top 5% of the companies assessed within the industry. According to Promodoro, the distinction confirms the company’s commitment towards sustainability, particularly in the areas of environmental protection, labour & human rights and responsible management.
The Managing Director of Promodoro, Khalil Mehanna, commented: “This distinction is the result of our joint efforts to increase the standards within the textile industry. It encourages us to continue developing further innovative and sustainable solutions.” Promodoro’s Sales Director, Melanie Schuster, added: “For us the award is not only confirmation of the path we have chosen, it is also a promise to our customers that we will continue to manufacture products of the highest quality that are made under ethical conditions.”
