CH – The premiere of the Sens7 was staged in Zurich on March 5, 2024 instead of the ten-year anniversary edition of the markeding Schweiz. This didn’t just entail changing the name of the event, the intention behind the move was an actual realignment: Away from a classic trade show for promotional products, more towards an experience-oriented, multisensory marketing festival for all of the senses – including the “seventh sense” that is responsible for intuitive knowledge.

The event was staged on two levels of the Papiersaal of the old Sihlpapierfabrik in the heart of Zurich. According to official accounts, around 50 exhibitors presented their products and services to approx. 480 visitors from the marketing and procurement sectors. And there was plenty on offer: Not only the creative suppliers of haptic advertising presented their line-ups, there was also a first-class lecture and workshop programme, which was very well-attended.

Furthermore, experiential elements, such as for example the opportunity to mix one’s own individual cocktail under the professional direction of experienced bartenders, provided additional highlights. For example, many people took advantage of the option to enjoy a free, vitalising coffee in Barista-quality, or water including a sports bottle – and last, but not least the invitation to exhibitors and visitors alike to sample exquisite types of champaign free of charge at the bar, where a DJ provided musical entertainment. It is thus hardly a surprise that the area was also used as a meeting point for networking in a relaxed atmosphere.

Michael Mätzener from the organisers, promoFacts: “It was an unforgettable, thoroughly impressive festival of the senses. All parties involved contributed toward this with their passion and expertise: The exhibitors, partners, speakers and visitors.”

The next edition of the Sens7 is scheduled to take place on March 12, 2025, in Zurich once again.
