UK – Leading personalities from the promotional products, textile and printing industry came together in Manchester on February 21, 2024 to engage in an exchange in lofty heights for the duration of the afternoon. The networking get-together that was staged by the organisers of the Promotional Showcase and sponsored by BIC Graphic Europe was held in the event location Cloud 23 of the Hilton Deansgate Hotel in Beetham Tower, one of the highest buildings of the United Kingdom.
The event began with a sparkling drinks reception, accompanied by a magician, who moved through the ranks and performed tricks in front of the guests. After an exquisite lunch the guests sat down at casino tables and tried their luck. The three best “high rollers“ – Neil Swift from Senator, Clive Allcott from Direct Textiles and Bags as well as Josh Turner from Big Bear Promo – won a bottle of sparkling wine.
Showcase & Friends is organised by Promotional Showcase, an alliance between promotional products suppliers and service providers from the UK and Ireland, who regularly invite guests to events at different locations in order to present their line-ups and promote the networking within the industry. The BIG Promotional Trade Shows make up an integral part of the group’s activities.
