D – The German Promotional Products Association, GWW, invited guests to join them for the GWW-Trend Spring Fair at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre on February 27, 2024. As usual, exclusively promotional products distributors were allowed to attend this edition of the Trend, which provided information on the product novelties in the haptic advertising sector. As such, a wide selection of products was found at the stands – from ballpoint pens, sweets and bags, through to cuddly toys, soap bubbles and insect hotels. However, several big suppliers had chosen not to exhibit this time. It took a while for the visitors to spread around the hall after the doors of the show opened at 9 o’clock. Many of the exhibitors were of the opinion that the flow of visitors throughout the rest of the day was also rather slow. As stated by the organisers, the Trend attracted a total of 509 visitors.
One day later, the prelude event of the GWW-Newsweek 2024 was also held at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. It was obligatory for exhibitors, who took part in the Trend, to participate in the Newsweek station. The concept of the event series foresees industry customers being invited to the roadshow by the participating promotional products distributors. Hence, in addition to the exhibiting suppliers, several promotional products agencies were also present with their own stands where they welcomed industry users. The exhibitors above all praised the interesting and open discussions as well as the good frequency of visitors, which made up for the rather weak previous day. According to official accounts, 583 visitors found their way to the Newsweek kick-off event.
The next events of the GWW-Newsweek are scheduled to take place in Bielefeld on April 15, and in Dortmund on April 16, followed by stops in Dresden, Berlin and Hamburg (April 23-25) as well as in Stuttgart and Munich (May 14 and 15).
