PL – At the beginning of 2024, the Polish sweets specialist, Slodkie, was distinguished with the Platinum seal of the international sustainability organisation, EcoVadis, which had assessed the company’s performance in the themes Environment, Labour, Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. According to own statements, as a holder of the Platinum seal Slodkie belongs to the top 1% of the companies assessed in their industry.
The company sees this distinction as confirmation of their strategic alignment. According to Slodkie, it has always placed great importance on the social responsibility of the company and on the implementation of environmentally-friendly measures. These include among others projects that support the local community, investments in training, the recycling of raw materials, low-waste packaging and reforestation initiatives. The company is of the opinion that the EcoVadis seal gives Slodkie the opportunity to communicate this entrepreneurial responsibility to its customers more readily.
