Takao Terashima
NL – Takao Terashima is the new Managing Director of Mimaki Europe, the European subsidiary of the Japanese manufacturer of printing and cutting machines from Nagano. Terashima started his career at Mimaki in 1997 in the Research and Development Department. Over the past 26 years he has constantly developed his expertise regarding both the technology portfolio of Mimaki as well as the respective market and held various executive positions within the company. Terashima was Senior General Manager of the Asia Oceania Business Unit from 2017 to 2024, previous to that he was employed as Senior Deputy General Manager of Quality Management and Managing Director of Mimaki Singapore. On January 29, 2024 he recently succeeded Takahiro Hiraki as Managing Director of Mimaki Europe, based in Diemen near Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
