USB2U Managing Director, Sebastian La Porta (r) welcomed Phil Battison to the anniversary celebrations. The two of them founded the company in 2002. Battison has meanwhile retired.
UK – USB2U celebrated its 20th anniversary on October 3, 2022 with a pizza party for the employees at its head office in Northampton. Former team members were also invited to attend, among others one of the founders, Phil Battison, who has meanwhile retired, took part in the event and exchanged memories about the history of the company with the USB2U founder and Managing Director, Sebastian La Porta.
After starting off by selling technology products to consumers from a garage in 2002, the company has developed into one of the leading B2B suppliers of customisable technology items. Some of the products, such as a power bank and a selfie ring light for example, were also contained inside the goodie bags, which were distributed to the party guests.
La Porta stated, “I am incredibly proud of everything USB2U has achieved over the past 20 years. The business has adapted to the phenomenal change in technology and buyer behaviour during this time, thanks to the direction of our management team and the tremendous effort of all our staff. I am looking forward to seeing what the next 20 years hold for USB2U.” After USB2U expanded its customising capacities by investing in new working areas and printing machines, the company considers itself well-equipped for further growth.
