Jörg Bley
D – Jörg Bley has been reinforcing the team of the Bremen-based calendar manufacturer, terminic, in his capacity as Plant Manager since August 2023. The media technology specialist is currently being shown the ropes by Michael Rügler, the former Plant Manager, who will be taking over new tasks at terminic from January 2024 onwards.
“I am very grateful to my predecessor Michael Rügler for the fantastic and really well-organised month-long hand-over process. This has enabled us to ensure that the plant operations will continue to run smoothly and it gave me enough time to familiarise myself with the peculiarities of calendar production,” is how Bley summed up the past months. The company will be able to benefit from the manifold printing industry experience the 51-year-old brings with him. After completing an apprenticeship as a media technologist, he gathered wide-ranging practical experience in the field of printing & production, both on different printing machines as well as in the pre-press area. Several years after completing his Masters, he took over the publishing company Flügge Printmedien in Geesthacht in 2007, where he spent 16 years as Managing Director. His family’s wish to move back to Bremen again, was the decisive reason that led to Bley closing down his publishing company and treading new paths.
