D – Soccer First celebrated its 20th anniversary earlier this year in March. The company has been producing individual balls that have been subsequently sold via sports clubs, the German league merchandising and via the promotional products industry since 2002. The founder and owner of Soccer First, Axel Fraunholz, proudly looks back on the history of his company: “At the start, few people even thought we would be able to survive for a year,” he said. In the meantime, Soccer First has established itself as one of the leading suppliers on the market of individual balls. “The most important features are quality, a good price/performance ratio and optimal customer service,” Fraunholz explained. Soccer First places a special focus on the product design and innovative strength. The 3D depiction of the design enables a professional sales offer and facilitates the customer’s decision-making process.

Constant further developments in the area of ball cuts and materials support a contemporary and market-oriented offer. In the meantime, Soccer First has also extended its range of products. The company now also offers jerseys, caps or products from the fitness/workout area such as boxing gloves for instance. According to own accounts thanks to the support of an experienced team, the ball specialists were and still are well-aligned even in challenging times. “Several restructurations in the organisation of the company have further increased our efficiency over the past two years,” is how the company owner describes the current situation. According to Soccer First, imminent sporting occasions and major events such as the Football World Cup this year and the European Championships in 2024 promise positive business development and the level of incoming orders from the promotional products trade of the neighbouring European countries is improving too.
