CZ – The 28th edition of the Reklama Polygraf Obaly – according to the trade show organisers “the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe” – took place at the PVA Expo Prague Exhibition Centre from April 25-27, 2023. The trade fair for advertising, printing, packaging and innovative technologies was staged in Halls 1 to 6, whereby predominantly printing machines and technologies were on display in Hall 1. In Hall 6 there was a special zone for 3D printing machines entitled “3dexpo” and this was also where the “Calendar 2023” exhibition was located. The trade visitors were able to determine which of the latter exhibits received a distinction. The haptic advertising suppliers were also represented in Hall 6, largely at uniform stands. Mainly specialists exhibited their products and services here, but a few distributors were also present. Large international full-range stockists chose not to use the platform. Not only suppliers from the Czech Republic participated at the show, companies from neighbouring countries were also on board.
The trade fair was evidently well-attended. Whereby the visitors were often very young – which is not unusual at events of this kind in Eastern Europe – and obviously not all marketing professionals. The event was accompanied by an extensive seminar and lecture programme.
The official attendance figure was not available at the time of going to press. In 2022, according to the organisers, 147 exhibitors presented their wares and fares to 9,873 visitors.
