Visitors to the HAPTICA® live on September 6, 2022 were able to examine the winners of the Promotional Gift Award 2022 and experience them with all their five senses. They were able to hold a wristwatch made from an old shipwrecked vessel in their hands, take a closer look at a bee hotel made from concrete, sniff scented socks or play videos on a smart perfume flacon – this and much more awaited the visitors of the Promotional Gift Award 2022 exhibition at this year’s HAPTICA® live in Bonn.
In addition to sophisticated custom-made designs made from building materials, tailor-made upcycled uniforms and completely new product developments from snack dispensers through to smartphone cleaners, true advertising classics such as ice scrapers, notebooks etc. convinced thanks to practical additional usages and clever materials. “Equipping products with a secondary usage is simply a good, creative idea. Furthermore, the product can be wonderfully used to convey advertising messages,” is how Miriam Borgmann, alka mediengestaltung, summed up the opinion of many guests. Thomas Westphal, HDI Pensionsmanagement, considers one of the major advantages of promotional products to be the fact that they tell stories rather than merely communicate simple advertising messages: “The exhibition offers the ideal opportunity to see what stories other companies want to tell and which products convey these stories.”
Anyone, who doesn’t want to miss the chance of winning one of the popular awards and be part of the live experience with their award-winning product next year can still profit from the September Deal up until the end of September, which entails a reduced application fee for the Promotional Gift Award 2023 (200 Euros instead of 280 Euros). The entries will be judged by a panel of experts in December, the winners will be notified before Christmas.
