D – The German textile specialist, Promodoro Fashion, has now been certified with the “Made in Green” label by Oeko-Tex. This is a traceable product label for all kinds of textiles and leather items that are produced in environmentally-friendly factories and at safe and socially responsible workplaces. It aims to offer transparency and traceability by providing information on the origin of the products. The specific product ID on each label enables companies and consumers to inform themselves about the production sites and the production process. The label is awarded on the basis of the STeP certification for sustainable production sites and the Standard 100 certification for products that have been tested for harmful substances.
According to Promodoro Fashion it is thus asserting itself for an environmentally-friendly and fair production of clothes and striving to raise awareness for sustainable clothing.
