CH – Using recycled materials is standard procedure at Prodir from now on: In future, all ballpoint models of the Swiss company will be made from regenerated and recycled ABS – in the case of black and white barrels to 100%, in the case of coloured barrels to 50%. According to own accounts, Prodir is thus taking a further step in the direction of a circular economy. The recycled material originates from own production waste or from regional producers close to the Swiss production locations of Prodir. The intention behind this is to not only guarantee the quality of the material, but also its environmentally-friendly production and logistics.
All Prodir writing instruments made from ABS carry the international recycling symbol on their shaft. They are 100% manufactured in Switzerland using climate-neutral hydropower and are equipped with lead-free, eco-friendly and exchangeable Floating Ball® refills as a standard.
