UK – This year’s edition of the Printwear & Promotion Live! Was staged at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) at the international airport in Birmingham from February 26-28, 2023. As such, the event returned to its traditional February venue date after having to be postponed until April last year due to COVID. The event that is organised by the English service provider, Datateam Business Media, offered interested parties the opportunity to inform themselves about novelties in the promotional textiles and textile embellishing segments.

According to the official figures, the organisers recorded a total of 5,167 visitors (2022: 4,303) over the three days of the show and thus came closer to the pre-COVID-19 level again (2020: 6,069). Tony Gardner, Event Director of the Printwear & Promotion Live! stated, “we were delighted with the visitor turnout this year with a 15% increase on the April 2022 show! The feedback received from both exhibitors and visitors confirms both the vibrancy of the market and the importance of and need for the show to be an annual event for the industry.” An extremely positive atmosphere prevailed at the exhibition grounds. Furthermore, the event was the scene for several exclusive new launches and industry premieres. According to the organisers this was proof that innovations and product developments continually take place in the clothing and textile embellishing sector. The exhibitors were correspondingly optimistic about the outcome of the trade fair and the mood on the market: “It is fantastic to see how the market is flourishing after the pandemic.”

The coming edition of the Printwear & Promotion Live! is scheduled from February 18-20, 2024.
