D – The customers of mbw have been enjoying the benefit of a new printing process for textile accessories, cuddly toys, key fobs and co. since April 2022. The promotional products specialist has been producing high-quality transfer prints on its new transfer printing machine at ideal conditions. The desired design in CMYK plus white achieves optimal results even on dark-coloured textiles thanks to the “DTplus” technique. Whether fine details or large-surface motifs, plain-coloured logos or halftone printing and gradients – practically all textiles can be embellished using this method. What’s more, the transfers are particularly durable, elastic, almost tearproof and washable up to 60 degrees. Furthermore, since the transfer print is applied directly to the material using a hot press, the time-consuming weeding process is no longer necessary. A further advantage: According to mbw, the set-up costs for multicoloured motifs that are printed using the DTplus technique, are much cheaper compared to classic printing methods, since they are only incurred once and not for each individual printing ink.
The new transfer printing machine has been in operation at mbw since April 2022.
