According to official accounts, the six sponsoring agencies of the markeding Vienna welcomed in total 2,137 guests this year from the promoting industry (2022: 1,512 guests) to the former residence of the Emperor – that was the best result for a markeding event to-date and impressively demonstrated that haptic advertising plays a significant role in the marketing mix. Zettl was delighted at the high number of visitors: “Since the COVID-related restrictions have been lifted, one can recognise a strong backlog in demand within the MICE industry. People simply have the need for live communications, real entertainment and a personal exchange again. We have also observed this trend at trade fairs that were not that long ago almost dying out and which are now experiencing an impressive renaissance.” Furthermore, the markeding Vienna is not only the trend barometer and driving force of the Austrian promotional products scene, it has in the meantime also become a significant industry event for Central Europe. The exhibitors, many of whom come from Germany, but also from other European countries, were unanimously satisfied with the result of the trade show. Some of the suppliers had even collected a record number of leads at the end of the day – in line with the rush of visitors.

The next edition of the markeding Vienna is scheduled to take place on April 11, 2024, once again at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna.
