UK – Listawood has invested in a new, fully-automatic paint spraying machine in order to optimise the production of its drinkware items at its British and European production sites. According to own accounts, the expansion of the machine park enables the company to individualise more than 20,000 items in pantone shades every day and offer an attractive price-performance ratio.
According to Listawood the lead-times for the best-selling products – i.e. high-quality thermos flasks and ceramic mugs – is around ten days. Together with the existing high-tech spraying machines, the new investment allegedly leads to the company disposing of the largest and most complex plant for the glazing of drinkware products European-wide. “Investment in fully automatic colour glazing lines is part of our strategy to strengthen our UK and European production plants,” stated Alex Turner, Managing Director of Listawood. “On top of this, we’ve also invested in the latest digital print technology and automatic direct printing machinery; delivering innovative and affordable drinkware products to our distributors worldwide.”
