D – Jung since 1828 has adopted the lady koala bear, Auburn, at the Wilhelma Zoo in Stuttgart. Since August 2023, Auburn has been living together with three other koala bears in the zoo’s recently opened Terra Australis.
Dennis Dennig, Managing Director of the sweets specialist met the Director of the Wihelma Zoo, Dr. Thomas Kölpin, on-site for the presentation of the adoption certificate. He was also able to experience the lady koala, Auburn, live in the Terra Australis theme world, which opened earlier this summer.

Auburn came to the zoo in August from Australia. Like her three companions Aero, Navy and Scarborough she originates from the Australian Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to the protection and preservation of endangered native species. Koala bears are on the IUCN’s (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) red list of endangered species.
The fact that animals play a large role at Jung since 1828 is also the theme of a new campaign, which the company will be launching at the PSI Show in January 2024.
