Heather Smartt
USA – Goldstar Global that is based in San Diego, California is welcoming Heather Smartt as its new global director for the Merchandising Department.
Smartt began her career at Crate and Barrel, a retail store for furniture and living accessories. She disposes of 17 years of experience in the promotional products industry and previously worked for Polyconcept at different locations all over the world. She currently supports Goldstar in Lisbon. Goldstar, the European location of which is based in Dundalk, Ireland, stated that Smartt’s talent to unite the North American and European markets is in future to serve as a decisive driving force for the company’s global product expansion. Her tasks are to also include the promotion of alternative production methods, the expansion of the product categories and the improvement of the global product design. Smartt: “I am deeply honoured to lead Goldstar’s global product development efforts. My goal is to leverage my experience in both North America and Europe to create products that meet the needs of our diverse customer base and align with our commitment to sustainability. Together with our talented team, we will help expand how the world perceives promotional products.”
