brandcharger recycle - BrandCharger strives to use 60% recycled materialsCN – BrandCharger is intensifying its commitment to sustainability. The company already implements recycled polyester made from used PET bottles for its products. “Our comprehensively conducted tests show that items made from recycled polyester are just as good, if not better even than products made from conventional polyester,” stated Mike Stas, who, based at the subsidiary in Rotterdam, the Netherlands is responsible for customer service in his capacity as Sales Director Europe at BrandCharger.

According to company accounts, by the end of 2022, 60% of all material BrandCharger uses will originate from recycled substances. This new strategy goes hand in hand with a reduction of the CO2 footprint. The manufacturer of USB charging devices’ aim is to implement exclusively sustainable recycled materials by the year 2025. In this connection, the company collaborates with the globally-operating organisation, Textile Exchange, and has its items certified in accordance with the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS). RCS is an international standard, which lays down the demands for recycled materials, the production chain, as well as for social and environment-related practices.
