UK – The British industry association, BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association), announced the winners of the Product Awards and presented the trophies at a networking event on December 1, 2023 at the Renaissance-Hotel St. Pancras in London. The prizes were conferred in twelve categories: Apparel Product, Award & Gifting Product, Bag & Folder Product, Drinkware Product, Food & Drink Product, Health & Travel Product, Innovative Product, Stationery Product, Technology Product, UK Made Product, Writing Instrument, Work & Play Product. The winners included industry giants such as BIC Graphic, Juniper Trading, Mid Ocean, PF Concept, Tancia, WCM&A as well as XD Connects.
60 industry professionals in total had assessed the entries in advance under the aegis of the Award Chairman, Brian Hayward, in the scope of several rounds. The participating companies had been asked to answer detailed questions on the products and on the theme sustainability and had the opportunity to corroborate their statements by providing corresponding evidence. The judges included representatives from the British industry service provider, Sourcing City, as well as from the industry associations, the PPAI (Promotional Products Association International), the PPPC (Promotional Products Professionals of Canada) and the APPA (Australasian Promotional Products Association). According to the BPMA, the jury members were particularly impressed by the wide variety and high quality of the entries.
All of the award-winning products will be exhibited at the Merchandise World in Coventry, UK on January 24-25, 2024. At this event, the winners of the BPMA Grand Prix will also be announced and promotional products suppliers and distributors will be presented with diverse awards during the BPMA Annual Awards Dinner.
