The Shop! team D-A-CH was delighted at the successful gala event in Cologne.
D – The association Shop! D-A-CH e.V. presented the POPAI D-A-CH Awards for the 13th time at the Flora in Cologne on May 31, 2023. POPAI stands for “Point of Purchase Advertising International”. The awards went to the best POS activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Awards were presented for displays and packaging, but also for complex sales promotion campaigns, visual merchandising and the implementation of digital technologies.
The trophy – a golden American Indian – was presented for the last time this year. In future, Shop! D-A-CH is following the example of the award in Australia and New Zealand, North America and France and will be conferring the Point statue from next year onwards, which designed in the shape of a golden exclamation mark, is based on the logo of the Shop! association.
The gold-winning companies in 2023 included the STI Group, JSC Sorbum LT, Sedu Display, Papacks Sales, POS Tuning, Chep Deutschland, Cheil Germany, umdasch Digital Retail, Moris design and Preussisch Portugal. The black nickel statue that is awarded for the categories “Best Digital Integration”, “Best Digital” and “Best Customer Experience” went to Eintracht Frankfurt, Corinna Dahlhaus and Lena Moos, respectively. In total, 40 entries were submitted as videos, which were already examined and evaluated by an independent jury on February 15, 2023. The jury comprised of members from the industry and trade, as well as people from the design and science sectors.
