An open exchange of opinions took place in the scope of the Forum BrauBeviale and the trade fair visitors were able to experience the diversity of the world of drinks in the Craft Drinks Area: It was possible to taste beer, spirits and alcoholic-free drinks at eight bars. Small breweries and hobby brewers were able to gain information in the Theme Pavilion brau@home and in the course of impulse lectures at Speakers‘ Corner. Last, but not least the European Beer Stars 2019 were elected: A 145-man strong international jury had determined the winners in 67 categories from among the 2,483 beers submitted from 47 countries in the run-up to the trade show. Furthermore, over 5,000 trade fair guests took the opportunity to play jury members themselves on the first day of the event and elected the Consumer’s Favourite.
