D – Late summer weather conditions and all-in-all satisfied exhibition partners and visitors set the scene for the 30th edition of the International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports (IAW), which was staged at the Koelnmesse from September 18-20, 2019. On 30,000 m² of exhibition space, 347 exhibitors prensented a diversified offer of goods. The anniversary event attracted around 8,400 trade visitors (Spring 2019: approx. 9,500 visitors), who showed keen interest in the exhibiting companies, which also included the importers of promotional products.

Two of the dominating themes of the order fair this year were E-Commerce and sustainability. Numerous exhibitors offered alternative products to classic disposable plastic or referred to the fact that they implemented recycled materials. The E-Commerce Arena, which was staged as in the past years, alongside the lectures and workshops attracted a high degree of attention. The 31st edition of the IAW is scheduled to take place from March 10-12, 2020 once again at the Koelnmesse.
