F – The ninth edition of Premium Sourcing was staged on September 4 and 5, 2019, this time in a new location in the heart of Paris: The venue was Les Salles du Carrousel du Louvre. The visitors – the show was exclusively open to professional resellers of promotional products – could actually see the Louvre, the glass pyramid and in the background the Eiffel Tower, from the entrance. Alongside these three landmarks of Paris, according to the organisers around 120 exhibitors – internationally-operating specialists and full-range stockists of haptic advertising, who as in the past exhibited at uniform stands and who presented their respective range of products and services – awaited the guests. The trade show is jointly organised by the Lyon-based industry service provider, 656 Editions, which also stages the CTCO in Lyon, together with European Sourcing and offers an established platform for the French industry, which makes use of the event intensively.
The official attendance figure was not available at the time of going to press, however there was a high frequency of visitors at the stands and the aisles were at times very crowded. The many visitors were offered a representative overview of the offer on the haptic advertising market. An informative lecture programme on both days rounded off the event. Finally, the organisers invited both the exhibitors and visitors to enjoy exquisite French specialities in the location’s bar on the evening of the first day of the show.
A detailed report will be published in eppi magazine No. 131 (October 9, 2019).
