D – Spreadshirt is going to invest nine million Euros in new printing technologies over the next two years. This is how the E-Commerce company is reacting to the increased demand as well as expanding its print-on-demand offer. Furthermore, by extending its machine park, the company intends to set new benchmarks in the printing quality as well as regarding the production and delivery times. “Spreadshirt is the market leader for the print-on-demand imprinting of cotton clothing in 18 countries. We are growing fast and our recently launched fulfilment business is developing rapidly,” commented Spreadshirt CEO, Philip Rooke, on the planned investments.
New Atlas printing machines of the Kornit brand will already be moving into the US American production locations, Henderson in Nevada and Greensburg in Pennsylvania, over the next few weeks. In 2020, the printer model is also going to be installed in the European Spreadshirt locations in the Czech Republic and Poland. Furthermore, the E-Commerce specialist is also planning to introduce new product categories, including the polyester imprinting of sports clothes, embroideries for corporate items as well as UV printing machines for accessories and further articles.
The Spreadshirt group comprising of the brands Spreadshirt, Spod, Teamshirts and Spreadshop is planning to dispatch ten million products to 150 countries in 2020. The marketplace and shop models of the company are used by over 100,000 partners.
