NL – The PromZ.live was staged at the event location Kromhouthal in Amsterdam on May 7-8, 2019 under the motto “wanna-haves and must-haves for marketing”. After being held in Rotterdam for two years, the organiser John Swaab, Het Portaal Uitgevers, explained that the relocation was due to the fact that since Amsterdam is the capital of the Dutch advertising industry, haptic advertising simply has to be presented there.

The Kromhouthal lies in the North of Amsterdam and was used as a production hall for ship’s engines for decades. Its industrial atmosphere offered the fitting environment for the according to official accounts 151 exhibitors, who included both suppliers as well as distributors. The PromZ.live is predominantly attended by end users and agencies. A colourful selection of classic products such as writing instruments or notepads and innovative product novelties was exhibited. An accompanying lecture programme that all of the visitors were free to attend enhanced the offer. Furthermore, as always, the PromZ Promotional Product Award was conferred in several categories, i.e. Sustainability, Office Items and Give-aways. A get-together on the first evening of the show rounded off the event.

According to the organisers, approx. 2,600 visitors attended the premiere of the PromZ.live in the capital city. Both Swaab as well as numerous exhibitors drew a positive balance regarding the fair’s changed location. Next year, the PromZ.live is scheduled to take place on May 14-15, in Amsterdam again.
