D – Kai Rössing took over executive management of Karl Knauer KG on May 1, 2019. The 52-year-old succeeds Joachim Würz, who is retiring after 17 years of office. “We have always appreciated the long-standing trustful cooperation and are delighted that Würz is going to remain with the company until September to support his successor as a contact partner,” explained Richard Kammerer, spokesman of the executive board.
As a graduate engineer majoring in production technology, Rössig has over 25 years of experience in the consumer industry and in the areas plant management, production, engineering, contract manufacturer and quality management. He already joined the Karl Knauer team on October 1, 2018 and has been able to gain an insight into the company and its two locations. Rössig: “The packaging industry is currently faced with huge challenges that have to be overcome. However, since we can fall back on a motivated, highly qualified team of skilled workers, I am sure that we will be able to continue successfully positioning ourselves on the market.”
