D – After running for three days, the 29th edition of the International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports (IAW) came to a close on February 27, 2019 in Halls 10.1 and 10.2 of Koelnmesse. As in the previous year, 342 international exhibitors from varying areas of trade, including several importers of promotional products, used the event that is organised by the Nordwestdeutsche Messegesellschaft Bremen-Hannover mbH as a platform for the sales of remaining stock and discontinued items. According to the official figures, with an attendance of 9,500 visitors (2018: 8,400 visitors), the IAW recorded a growth of around 13% compared to last year.
Asia-Pacific Sourcing – the trade fair for tools and household and garden products from the Far East – which is staged every two years, was once again held parallel to the to the spring edition of the IAW. The visitors of both shows made good use of the free offer of commuting between the two fairs and expanding their networking and synergy radii.
The autumn edition of the IAW is scheduled to take place in Halls 6 and 9 of Koelnmesse from September 18-20, 2019.
