F – According to the official figures, more than 300 suppliers of haptic advertising – including numerous new participants – presented their portfolios at the 12th edition of the CTCO from February 5-7, 2019 at the Eurexpo in Lyon. As in the previous years, the level of internationality of the exhibitors was very high – it is a must-attend event for companies that want to export to the French and Southern European market. As is customary, the C!print took place parallel to the CTCO in the adjacent exhibition hall. Around 250 suppliers presented their printing, customising and individualising offers as well as the respective services. Synergies between the two trade fairs are desired and do exist – nevertheless the trade visitor status of the CTCO remains intact thanks to effective controls and a special admission procedure.
The trade fair was very well-attended, particularly on the second day. The exhibitors evidently held intense discussions, there were crowds of visitors at some of the stands. The official attendance figure was not available at the time of going to press – the number of visitors registered at last year’s event, namely 10,705, should however definitely have been matched. Both the good organisation by 656 Editions, as well as the pleasant get-together on the evening of the second exhibition day where exquisite, French delights were served, were praised.
