D – The werbeartikelmesse münchen (wmm) in Munich is a fixed event in the diaries of the organisers and exhibitors as well as for the majority of the visitors every year. In 2019, Promo Event GmbH (Eichenau) invited guests to attend the event on behalf of the five sponsoring agencies admixx (Ottobrunn), AmedeA (Karlshuld), CD Werbemittel (Germering), Eidex (Baierbrunn) and Hagemanngruppe (Eichenau) for the 21st time already. On over 4,000 m² of exhibition space, executives from the industry and marketing sectors had the opportunity to discover novelties and trends from the field of haptic advertising at the MOC in Munich on January 23 and 24, 2019. According to the official figures, as in the previous year over 1,300 visitors from the industry and medium-sized companies accepted the invitation and were given professional advice from the sponsoring agencies and 114 exhibitors. Above all, the suppliers praised the high quality of the visitors, who generated over 18,700 enquiries. In spite of a very strong first exhibition day, according to the organisers the snow in the regions around Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Oberpfalz and Salzburg prevented them from setting a new attendance record.
The elaborately designed sustainability zone that accommodated the most eco-friendly products of the exhibiting suppliers and which was decorated with solid wood logs, data sheets made of natural materials and reusable exhibition flooring, proved to be a special eye-catcher. The action zone on the other hand was dedicated to virtual worlds. Whereas at the stand of Imanox it was possible to explore the interior of a Mercedes McLaren or a colourful unicorn world in the scope of a 360 degree photo experience, Augmentaio made an electric car appear at the exhibition stand with the aid of augmented reality applications. Thanks to the long-standing cooperation with Speakers Excellence, finally the visitors were also given the opportunity to take part in four lectures by selected speakers free of charge.
