D – The winners of the Promotional Gift Award 2019 have been selected: 44 products and campaigns in the area of haptic advertising have been awarded the coveted design and communication prize presented by WA Media. Whether in the scope of a tattoo that only becomes visible once it has been applied to the skin, culinary delights made from surplus fruit and vegetables or an acquisition mailing that offers blood, sweat and tears in the form of inscribed ink – the diversity of the award-winners once again demonstrates the multifaceted nature and communicative power of promotional products.
In order to be able to determine the winners from the 193 entries submitted, the jury members Michael Mätzener (diewerbeartikel gmbh), Ulrike Müßigbrodt (Henkel), Michael Scherer (WA Media), Nadja Trumm (Volkswagen Zubehör), Michael Witzorrek (merchandise.blog), Martin Zettl (marke|ding|) and Jürgen Zimmer (Mast-Jägermeister) had their hands full on December 10 and 11, 2018, before ultimately based on a scoring system the winners in the seven categories Give-aways, Communicative Products, Custom-made Designs, Best Practice, Merchandising, Premium Products and Customising Technologies could be selected. A special prize in the category “Presentation” was also awarded.

The award ceremony of the Promotional Gift Award 2019 will be held on March 20, 2019 at the HAPTICA® live ‘19 at the World Conference Center Bonn, where all of the award-winning products will be on display in a separate exhibition. They will additionally be presented in detail in eppi magazine No. 127 (February 20, 2019).
