NL – In the scope of a management buy-out, Hans Poulis has acquired the majority stakes in IGC International. The promotional products agency was founded in 2017 by the international distributor alliance, IGC Global Promotions, with the aim of bundling the worldwide competence of the 52 member companies as a central contact and contract partner and thus enable closer cooperation and an active access to local markets. The CEO of IGC International is Hans Poulis, who has already been CEO of ICG Global Promotions since 2011 and who has now acquired the majority stakes of the IGC members. “We are extremely pleased with this buy-out, which we believe will help us accelerate our growth strategy,” said Poulis convinced. “The demand for sustainable materials in our sector is increasing rapidly, which is why we plan to invest heavily in product innovations in the coming years so we can meet that demand. At the same time, companies are outsourcing more and more production activities and we expect to be able to serve our customers even better by investing in production capacity.”
IGC International specialises among others in sustainable products, which are produced under CSR-relevant criteria – from the usage of eco-friendly materials, through to complete transparency of the supply chain. The customers of the agency, which currently represents 52 companies with 1,800 employees and subsidiaries in 46 countries, include famous companies such as L‘Oréal, Philips and Henkel.
