RUS – After the Düsseldorf-based PSI has been supporting the autumn edition of the IPSA-Show in Moscow for the past few years (“powered by PSI”), the first edition of the PSI Russia was recently staged in Pavilion 1, Hall 1 of the exhibition centre in Moscow, the Crocus Expo, from September 11-13, 2018. The target group of the show is all market participants, in other words all distributors and agencies as well as users of haptic advertising plus communications or event service providers.
According to official accounts, over 140 exhibitors of haptic promotional item – not exclusively companies from Russia, but also from Belarus, India, Turkey and China too – presented their wares and fares. Local representatives also flew the flag for suppliers from Switzerland and Germany. Special zones, networking areas, a lecture programme and the award ceremony of the PSI Russia Awards rounded off the event.
Whether the official target of 5,000 visitors was actually reached, was not certain by the time of going to press. However, apparently there wasn’t a huge surge of visitors. Those who had expected the return of the Russian market leaders, who used the autumn edition of the IPSA Show as a platform up until a few years ago, at the premiere of the PSI Russia, were disappointed. The majority of the exhibitors comprised to a large extent of smaller and regional suppliers that welcomed visitors of a similar calibre.
A detailed report will be published in the next edition of eppi magazine No. 125 (October 10, 2018).
