D – With around 190 exhibitors, examples of international best practice and the winners of the Promotional Gift Award, the HAPTICA® live on March 20, 2019 once again promises to be a source of inspiration for distributors, agencies and promoting companies, who are on the look-out for appropriate promotional products for themselves or their customers.
“Just look, don’t touch” – this well-known rule at museums is completely thrown overboard during the HAPTICA® live ‘19. At the event that is being held at the World Conference Center in Bonn, the motto is instead “Look & Feel”, as the new campaign clearly underlines. It is not dusty exhibits from past epochs that are being showcased either, but instead the current highlights of a highly vibrant marketing discipline: haptic advertising. Promotional products distributors are well aware that haptic advertising extends the brand image in the world of the tactile, makes messages tangible and generates real touchpoints with the target group.
Everything revolves around give-aways and onpacks, premiums and incentives, merchandising and brands, customer gifts and workwear one whole day long. The visitors are invited not just to look at the latest trends of the around 190 exhibitors, but to actually touch and try them out – in line with the motto “Look & Feel”. Listening is on the agenda during the lecture programme, when speakers from the marketing scene report about their experiences in dealing with haptic advertising. One can cheer the award winners of the Promotional Gift Award 2019 and marvel at the creative implementations from all over the globe in the Best Practice show. Creative start-ups, renowned brand names, extraordinary niche players and full-range stockists with wide alignments will present product novelties and trends from all areas and for every occasion.
Providing a home for the creativity of the promotional products industry is the declared goal of the organisers, the Cologne-based publishing company WA Media. This is not only expressed by the diversified programme, in the detailed presentation of the Best Practice examples or the selection of the give-aways, but also by the new “Look & Feel” of the HAPTICA® live, which with its black and red design now reflects the overall image of WA Media more closely. However, apart from the visual relaunch the concept remains the same, including the admission procedure: Without limitations, the event is open to all visitor groups that occupy themselves with promotional products professionally, whether promotional products distributors or suppliers, whether creative employees from marketing departments, promotional products buyers or advertising agency staff, whether the managing directors of small companies, customisers or marketing service providers. Visiting the event is free of charge, however it is necessary to register in advance.
