NL – The Leveranciersdagen that are organised by the Dutch communications service provider, Het Portaal Uitgevers, took place on 4 and 5 September 2018 for the first time at the Expo Houten instead of at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht as in the years before. The new location offered a host of advantages, primarily with a view to the logistics and parking situation. According to the organisers, 142 exhibitors (2017: 137) presented their products and services – including alongside significant Dutch suppliers, also newcomers and niche players, as well as numerous manufacturers and importers from other parts of Europe. According to the official figures, 1,154 representatives from the promotional products trade (2017: 1,106) attended this year’s show, predominantly from the Netherlands, but also from Belgium and Germany.

Leveranciersdagen 2 - De Leveranciersdagen: Established concept

As usual, the Leveranciersdagen were supported by the Dutch association, PPP (Platform Promotional Products). The event was accompanied by the obligatory lectures on industry themes that were held via headphones in the form of “Silent Seminars”. Furthermore, Het Portaal presented its awards at the traditional “Night of the PromZ” on the first evening of the show, which was attended by over 300 guests. This year Compacon (“Leverancier van het Jaar”), Maxilia (“Best Online Performance”), Intraco (“Supplier Specialist”) and PF Concept (“Supplier Generalist”) were distinguished.

A detailed report will follow in eppi magazine No. 125 (October 10, 2018).
