B – The annual networking day of the Belgian Association of Promotional Products (BAPP) took place on August 30, 2018 at the San Marco Village in Schelle. 66 haptic advertising suppliers (2017: 60) from the Benelux countries, Germany and further European countries presented a diversified product mix at the event location with Venetian flair that is located between Brussels and Antwerp, which already went down very well last year as the new venue. As a contact platform for international promotional products manufacturers and importers as well as for Belgian promotional products distributors, the event organised by BAPP has established itself over the past years. And the fact that it is more than just a trade show – namely a Networking Day – became clear at the latest during the get-together, which like every year rounded the day off: Accompanied by Belgian beer and culinary delights, there was plenty of opportunity to establish or intensify contacts and discuss industry matters.
According to the association, in total 190 people (2017: 175) from 95 promotional products agencies travelled to Schelle for the event. Several of the exhibitors emphasised positively that many companies were represented by a number of employees. Companies that were not yet BAPP-members, could inform themselves on-site about the work and the initiatives of the bustling association, which for its part also canvassed for new members.
