D – On August 18, 2018 Tradeconthor held a big launch party to celebrate its third anniversary – and at the same time the change of name to Vonmählen. Under the new brand that shines out with simple elegance and Northern German understatement, the image of the smartphone accessories, with which the company founder and CEO Julian Thormählen and his team have conquered the international promotional products market within three years, will be further enhanced. The items will also be positioned on the retail market. Just in time for the launch party, a salesroom was completed on the ground floor of the company’s headquarters, where the party was held.
Around 120 guests – including the Chinese production partner, with whom the start-up cooperates in the two locations, Ningbo and Dongguan, as well as numerous sales partners from the promotional products and retail markets – celebrated together with the Vonmählen team. From the original three employees the team has grown up to around 60 employees at the location in Germany and 40 in the Far East. “I am proud of you and everything that we have achieved together over the past three years,” Thormählen explained in his speech. “Now, I want to grow really big with you.” The target of the entrepreneur is according to own accounts the “multi-billion market” of the smartphone accessories. With a distribution of the product range in 40 countries as well as an own research and development centre in Ningbo, Vonmählen is well-aligned for the next steps.
