F – The Paris-based Raja Group, a European packaging specialist for the B2B mail order trade, has announced a turnover of 561 mil. Euros for 2017, which corresponds to a 12% increase. Almost 40 mil. Euros were achieved through organic growth; the group earned 22 mil. Euros through the acquisition of the German Udo Bär Group in August 2017.

According to own accounts, in 2018 the Raja Group aims to further accelerate its growth and generate a turnover of 640 mil. Euros. The company is investing in three areas to achieve this target: To position itself as a one-stop-shop, the group is further extending its offer in the areas work protection and hygiene items, office materials, industrial equipment for storage and handling, as well as consumable supplies and equipment for businesses. The continual expansion of the logistic capacities and inauguration of new distribution centres is to further shorten the delivery times.

The packaging specialist has additionally invested in a mobile version of its website and intends to offer its customers even more flexible and faster digital services by the end of 2018, including improved product configurators and product selection tools.
