D – Protrade is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Wolfgang Amann laid the foundation for the success story of the promotional products specialist in the year 1988. Together with Georg Bock, he then developed the company into a specialist for watches, tools and lamps, which were sold under the brand names PWC – Professional Watch Company – and PRO – Products For Life – which have in the meantime established themselves on the haptic advertising market. At Protrade, the promotional products distributors benefit from straightforwardness, reliability and fairness, a comprehensive offer of products and a service that ranges from product training, to the compilation of offers including visualisations, through to personal customer calls.
Since Wolfgang Amann left the company in December 2012, Georg Bock, who joined the firm in 1989 and was appointed an authorised signatory in 1992, has been responsible for the fate of Protrade in his capacity as the sole proprietor. He is supported by an experienced team, which significantly contributes to the success of the watch, tool and lamp specialists and which has been loyally serving the company for years. “Most of our workers have been on board for many years and have actively co-shaped a considerable part of the company’s 30-year history,” stated Bock. Up until going into retirement on August 1, 2018, Bernd Schüpphaus was also a member of the team. The sales professional had been the face of the tool specialists from the beginning of 2011 onwards and was the company’s international sales and exhibition representative. With immediate effect, Volker Beermann has taken over the position and areas of responsibility of the pensioner.
