D – After founding cafés in Milan, Beijing and Geneva, the fourth Moleskine café worldwide opened up in the Thalia flagship store in the city centre of Hamburg on March 14, 2018. In future book fans, culture enthusiasts and creative minds can immerse themselves in the world of the Moleskine products while enjoying coffee specialities and healthy snacks. In addition to the Moleskine products, the café also offers exclusive coffee blends and accessories. The timeless ambiance reflects the design world of the famous Italian brand and is based on the ivory-coloured pages of the world-famous notebooks.
On April 24, the company invited press representatives and bloggers to an exclusive press breakfast to get to know the café and its concept. Roberto Lobetti Bodoni, CMO of Moleskine, Andrea Strein, Managing Director of Moleskine Germany and representatives of Thalia welcomed the attending journalists and bloggers. In the scope of a workshop the visitors were given an introduction into the methods of sketch noting, i.e. the visual revision of notes using drawings and graphic elements. During the subsequent networking it was possible to become better acquainted with the product worlds of Moleskine, whereby particularly the Smart Writing concept, with the help of which notes are digitalised while being written to enable their further processing, met with great interest.
